If you are hosting an organised event in New Zealand where 30 or more international visitors will be invited, you should consider a group application to make sure applications can be processed and completed together.
Group Visitor Visa
'Organised events' can include events such as corporate, formal, and official events or visits. They do not include personal celebrations, ceremonies, and commemorative events.
We encourage organisers to email us as early as possible, preferably 3 months before the event start date. This means we can help ensure attendees apply for the correct visas, and do so early to avoid any processing delays.

Event organisers do not need to notify us if their organised event will have less than 30 international visitors.
If you are attending personal events or organised events with less than 30 international visitors, you can explore your visa options using our explore and select a visa tool.
