Welcoming Week — Te Wiki o Manaaki is an annual campaign to showcase and celebrate how communities across Aotearoa New Zealand and the globe are striving to be more welcoming places for all. 

Launched in 2012, Welcoming Week provides individuals and communities the opportunity to show welcoming values through events and local initiatives that foster mutual understanding, stronger connections, and deeper belonging among all residents.

We’ve created a resource toolkit to help spread messages of inclusion during Welcoming Week. It includes tips, event ideas, posters, and shareable content that can be used online and to hold Welcoming Week activities.
