2023 post-forum summary and update

The theme for the 2023 Forum was Meaningful Partnerships and Participation. The agenda was co-developed by a planning team consisting of former refugees with lived experience, including members of the New Zealand Refugee Advisory Panel, local Councils, service providers, NGOs, and staff from INZ’s Refugee and Migrant Support. The forum highlighted three key themes for continued discussions and consideration towards work programmes.

2019

The theme for the 2019 Forum was Community Engagement. The Forum started the conversation to develop an approach and pathway to better connect communities locally, in each region and across New Zealand to strengthen the overall support for refugee settlement outcomes.
