Visa applications can be sponsored by New Zealand citizens and residents, and organisations like registered companies, incorporated societies, charitable trusts, and government agencies.

Funding your study
You may need to provide evidence that you can support yourself while you are studying in New Zealand.
Paying for maternity care
If you are pregnant and apply for a temporary visa to visit, study or work in NZ you must tell us how you will pay for your maternity care while you are here.
Investing and investment funds
If you are applying for an investor visa or a parent retirement visa you must show your investments are acceptable.
