From policy: L3.5 Definition of 'limited purpose permit'

Immigration Act 1987 s 34A

  1. A limited purpose permit is a permit granted to allow its holder to be in New Zealand for an express purpose only.
  2. A limited purpose permit is not a temporary permit.
