R8.10 Holders of current residence visas or returning resident's visas in Greek passports issued prior to 1 January 2006

From 1 January 2007 the only Greek passports acceptable for travel are those issued on and after 1 January 2006 (see A2.10.50). Nevertheless, during the period 1 January 2007 to 31 March 2007 holders of Greek passports issued prior to 1 January 2006 will be permitted to travel to New Zealand and be granted a residence permit on arrival if their passport contains a current residence visa or current returning resident's visa.
