A5.15 Applicants not considered to be of good character for residence
Applicants not considered to be of good character for residence are classified as follows:
- applicants who will not be issued with a residence visa or granted a residence permit (see A5.20); or
- applicants who will not normally be issued with a residence visa or granted a residence permit (see A5.25) unless a character waiver is granted; or
- applicants whose applications for a residence visa or permit will usually be deferred (see A5.30).
