G4.5 Evidence of work experience (26/07/1999)
  1. Evidence of work experience must include documents that show the period of employment, the employer's name and the position held.
  2. Evidence of work experience includes but is not limited to original or certified copies of the following documents:
    1. references from employers,
      • on company letterhead, and
      • stating the occupation and dates of employment, and
      • giving the contact phone number and address of the employer
    2. letters of appointment
    3. certificates of service
    4. pay slips
    5. job specifications
    6. tax records
    7. job assessments.
  3. Evidence of part-time work experience includes that listed in paragraph (b), but must also show actual weekly hours worked.

G4.5.1 Evidence of relevant work experience

If documents submitted as evidence of work experience do not show the relevance of the work experience to the qualification for which points have been awarded, principal applicants may have to provide further evidence of the relevance of the work experience, including evidence about those things set out in G4.1.5 (b). Evidence includes but is not limited to original or certified copies of letters from employers that clearly state the relevance of the qualification to the principal applicant's employment.
