A10.10 Procedures relating to correspondence from the Privacy Commissioner
- The NZIS Privacy Officer is responsible for answering most correspondence from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner about complaints made under the Privacy Act 1993.
- Any other office approached about a case that is the subject of an Privacy Commissioner's investigation must refer details to the NZIS Privacy Officer, National Office, who independently reviews the issues and sends a report to the Privacy Commissioner.
