A15.15 Immigration Act 1987 (26/07/1999)

Instrument of Designation

Pursuant to Section 2(1) of the Immigration Act 1987, as amended by Section 2(10) of the Immigration Amendment Act 1991 I, Colin James McKenzie, Secretary of Labour, hereby:

1. Designate All Heads of Mission or Heads of Posts of New Zealand overseas missions or posts within the meaning of the External Relations Act 1988; and
2. All members of the staff (including locally engaged staff) of New Zealand overseas missions or posts authorised from time to time by the Head of Mission or Head of Post to exercise consular functions;
   
   as visa officers under the provisions of the Immigration Act 1987.
