- Points are awarded for the age as follows:

- Principal applicants aged 56 and over must be declined under the General Skills category.
- Additional points should be awarded if a 24-year-old principal applicant turns 25 before a is made on the application.
Note: points for age will not decrease if the principal applicant moves to a lower level of points.
G4.35.1 Evidence of age
Evidence of age may include but is not limited to original or certified copies of:
- a birth certificate
- a passport or other travel document
- an identity card (from countries which require an identity card and where birth details must be confirmed before one is issued).
