BI10.1 Issue of residence visas/permits (04/07/2005)

1. Residence visas/permits may only be issued once principal applicants have:
   1. met the transfer requirements in policy BI9.5 to BI9.30; and
   2. paid any applicable migrant levy (see policy R5.90).
2. Residence visas/permits will be issued or granted subject to the requirements imposed under section 18A of the Immigration Act 1987 in accordance with the policy in BI10.10 (see also BI12).
