SM8.1 Aims and intent (17/12/2003)

The aim of providing bonus points for skilled employment in an identified future growth area, identified cluster, or area of absolute skills shortage is to recognise that New Zealand’s short and longer term economic development can be facilitated by those migrants with skills that will contribute to New Zealand’s economic growth.
