SM14.35 NZQA Preliminary Assessment Reports, Interim Assessment Reports and Qualifications Assessment Reports
- The NZQA will provide Preliminary Assessment Reports, Interim Assessment Reports and Qualifications Assessment Reports.
- A Preliminary Assessment Report is one which assesses the applicant’s overseas qualification(s) without sighting original documents on the understanding that:
- the pre-assessment is based on the information provided by the applicant only; and
- at such time as an application for residence is , a full assessment (Qualifications Assessment Report) will be required for qualification(s) to qualify for points.
- An Interim Assessment Report is one which assesses the level of the Register that the qualification (or group of qualifications) occupies and states that verification of the qualification has not been completed by the NZQA.
- A Qualifications Assessment Report is one which assesses the level of the Register that the qualification (or group of qualifications) occupies and refers to any verification of the qualification(s) undertaken by the NZQA.
