C2.10 Further claims for refugee status (26/07/1999)

  1. A person who has previously had a claim to refugee status finally determined by the RSB or the RSAA has no right to have a further claim accepted for consideration by the RSB unless circumstances in the claimant's home country have changed to such an extent that the further claim is based on significantly different grounds from those in the original claim.
  2. To be eligible to make a further claim for refugee status, claimants must be in New Zealand, whether lawfully or unlawfully.
