P6.1 Employment (26/07/1999)

Visa and immigration officers must:

1. be satisfied that applicants for private exchanges between individuals in the same field of employment meet the lodgement and health and character requirements for a work visa; and
2. sight written confirmation that a reciprocal placement is being made available for a New Zealand exchange partner (the name and address of the New Zealand partner must be supplied); and
3. sight written guarantees of employment from both exchange partners' employers.
