U8.15 Dependants of armed forces personnel
  1. Spouses and partners and dependent children of armed forces personnel (including Operation Deep Freeze) are regarded as domestic students in the following respects:
    1. for the purpose of all course fees for the period of secondment, and
    2. until the end of the calendar year in which their spouse or partner or parent completes their posting in New Zealand.
  2. The student permits granted (and multiple student visas issued) must be current for the period of enrolment or until the parent or spouse or partner departs, whichever occurs sooner.
  3. If the student wishes to continue studying in New Zealand after their parent or spouse or partner departs, they must meet the policy and mandatory requirements for a temporary visa or permit and obtain one.
