Y3.20 People who are members of...

Y3.20 People who are members of a group which has criminal objectives or has engaged in criminal activities and who may constitute a threat to public interest or public order

Immigration Act 1987 s 7(1)(i)

A person is not eligible for an exemption or permit and will normally be refused entry into New Zealand if:

  1. the Minister has reason to believe that they are members of, or adhere to, any organisation or group of people which has criminal objectives or which has engaged in criminal activities; and
  2. their presence in New Zealand would, for that reason or any other reason, constitute, in the opinion of the Minister, a threat to the public interest or public order.
