*If an applicant believes their qualification may be higher than the levels stated above they should apply to the NZQA for an International Qualification Assessment. Degrees where “Honours” is used as a result of performance are not considered to be postgraduate study.

**Doctorate degrees other than Doctor of Philosophy (PhD or DPhil) degree require a NZQA assessment.
