E7.50 Health requirement for partners or dependent children not included in or withdrawn from a residence class visa application (30/07/2012)
- Applicants who are applying for a temporary entry class visa as the partner or dependent child of a New Zealand citizen or residence class visa holder; and who are required to provide a medical certificate, must provide a General Medical Certificate (INZ 1007) rather than a Limited Medical Certificate (INZ 1201) if they were:
- eligible for inclusion in the earlier residence class visa application made by their partner or parent, but were not included; or
- withdrawn from the earlier residence class visa application made by their partner or parent.
- If an immigration officer determines that the applicant does not have an acceptable standard of health they will not be granted a medical waiver (see A4.65(b)) despite being the partner or dependent child of a New Zealand citizen or residence class visa holder (see A4.65(d)).
