Y7.10 Contact with immigration officers

1. In most circumstances, immigration officers will not have contact with transit passengers, who will be confined to the transit section of the immigration control area.
2. If a transit passenger makes themselves known to an immigration officer in order to claim refugee or protection status, the immigration officer must follow the procedures set out in Y8.
