WJ2.1 Genuine attempts to fill crew positions (17/12/2012)

Evidence that an employer or NZCP has made genuine attempts to find suitably qualified and experienced New Zealand citizens or residence class visa holders to fill the vacant crew positions includes, but is not limited to:

1. listing the vacancies with Work and Income;
2. evidence of advertising;
3. using a recruitment agency;
4. consulting with the New Zealand Fishing Industry Guild, the New Zealand Industry Training Organisation, and the Council for Trade Unions.
