BJ8.1 Grant Issue of resident visas (10/11/2016)
  1. Resident visas may only be granted once principal applicants have:
    1. met the transfer requirements set out at BJ7.10; and
    2. placed the funds into an acceptable investment; and
    3. paid any applicable ESOL tuition fee(s) (see BF3.15).
  2. A business immigration specialist must also be satisfied the applicant continues to meet the fit and proper person requirements set out at BM1.
  3. Resident visas will be granted subject to conditions under section 49(1) of the Immigration Act 2009 in accordance with the instructions set out at BJ8.10.
