H5.12 Lapsing an Expression of Interest (to 31/07/2022)

1. An Expression of Interest (EOI) in obtaining an invitation to apply for a visa, or requesting a variation of conditions, by a person claiming to have a critical purpose for travelling to New Zealand under H5.25.15(j) will be lapsed where:
   1. the COVID-19 Support Restricted Temporary instructions H5.25.15(j) providing that a person has a critical purpose for travelling to New Zealand as "Essential Skills, Entrepreneur and Work to Residence visa holders who normally live in New Zealand" ceases to be in effect; and
   2. the EOI has not been selected from the pool.
2. An EOI can only be lapsed if it has been submitted into the Pool under H5.11.
3. The lapsing of an EOI will not result in a refund of the EOI fee.
