WK2.5 Lodging a request for approval in principle to recruit overseas workers (27/07/2020)

1. Applications for approvals in principle must be made on the form ‘Request for Approval in Principle’ (INZ 1112).
2. A request for approval in principle must be accompanied by evidence that:
   1. the employment is acceptable (WK3.5); and
   2. there are no New Zealand citizens or residents available for the work (WK3.10); and
   3. the employer meets requirements (WK3.15).
3. To determine the remuneration level of the proposed employment, evidence must be provided of:
   1. the proposed remuneration; and
   2. the hours of work, or of the arrangements relating to the number of hours to be worked.
