I2.5 Grant of a 2021 Interim Visa

1. A 2021 interim visa may be granted to a person who:
   1. holds a temporary visa; and
   2. has applied for the 2021 Resident visa; and
   3. has not applied for a further temporary visa or a Skilled Migrant Category resident visa under SR3 instructions (at the time the 2021 interim visa is granted); and
   4. is in New Zealand.
2. A 2021 interim visa cannot be applied for.
3. A 2021 interim visa may be granted by electronic means.

Note: Interim and limited visas are not temporary visas and do not meet the requirements of I2.5(a)(i).
