BN6 Nominated funds and/or assets

1. The principal applicant must:
   1. nominate funds and/or assets equivalent in value to at least NZ$15 million or weighted equivalent (see BN7.1); and
   2. demonstrate ownership of the nominated funds and/or assets (see BN6.1); and
   3. demonstrate that the nominated funds and/or assets have been legally earned or acquired (see BN6.5).
2. The nominated funds and/or assets must be unencumbered (see BN6.10).
3. The nominated funds and/or assets must not be borrowed, except to the extent that the borrowed funds are secured against nominated assets and have been demonstrated by the principal applicant to be acceptable as set out in BN8.10(e).
