BC2.5 Summary of requirements (26/07/1999)

A principal applicant for a long-term business visa/permit must:

  1. have a satisfactory business plan; and
  2. have, in addition to investment capital, sufficient funds (see BC2.15.1) for their maintenance and accommodation and that of any spouse or partner and or dependent children included in the application; and
  3. meet Health and Character requirements policy (see A4 and A5); and
  4. satisfy the business immigration specialist that they are genuinely interested in establishing a business in New Zealand.
