BI7.1 Aim and intent (04/07/2005)

The policy regarding the nominated investment funds and/or assets (BI7) and the method of transfer (BI9) of those funds to New Zealand is to ensure:

1. the legitimacy and lawful ownership of the nominated funds and/or assets; and
2. that the direct transfer of the investment funds through a structured and prescribed process guarantees the ongoing legitimacy and lawful ownership of the funds invested in New Zealand.
