S1.1 Pitcairn Islanders
- Pitcairn Islanders are considered for residence under a special policy because New Zealand recognises that there are few employment opportunities on Pitcairn Island.
- Pitcairn Islanders must be approved for residence if they:
- apply in the prescribed manner (see R2.35 - R2.45), and
- meet health and character requirements (see R4), and
- have an offer of employment in New Zealand that meets the requirements of SM7.15.
