N1 Objective

  1. The objective of New Zealand's transit visa policy is to ensure that the stated intention of certain classes of people to pass through New Zealand on the way to another destination is genuine.
  2. This objective is reached by scrutinising such people before they travel to New Zealand as transit passengers.
