BK2.1 Annual availability of places under the Active Investor Migrant Policy (AIMP)

1. There are 1000 places available annually (approximately 300 applications including principal and non-principal applicants) under the Active Investor Migrant Policy (AIMP) that sit within the total number of places available under the Skilled/Business stream of the New Zealand Residence Programme (NZRP).
2. The Minister of Immigration may review and adjust the number of places available periodically if deemed appropriate, provided the adjustment is within the NZRP.
3. In filling the 1000 places, Global Investor Category and Professional Investor Category applications will be prioritised, and General (Active) Investor Category applications will be selected to fill the remaining places within the annual period.
