G5.10 New Zealand work experience (01/07/2003)

  1. Principal applicants may be awarded up to 2 additional points for work experience gained lawfully in New Zealand, as follows:

    New Zealand work experience

    Points

    One full year

    1

    Two or more full years

    2

  2. The New Zealand work experience does not include experience of the kind discussed in G4.1.1(e).
  3. Points awarded for New Zealand work experience are additional to those gained for total years of work experience (see G4.1(c)).
  4. Provisions concerning aggregation of work experience and the effect of leave, part-time work and study and training undertaken as part of employment also apply to New Zealand work experience (see G4.1.1 and G4.1.10).

G5.10.1 Evidence of New Zealand work experience

  1. Evidence of New Zealand work experience includes but is not limited to evidence of work experience of the type listed in G4.5; and
  2. evidence of the lawfulness of New Zealand work experience includes but is not limited to evidence that the experience was gained while holding a New Zealand work permit, or other authority to work.
