BB6.10 Investment transfers during the two-year investment period

Investment funds may be transferred from one investment to another during the two-year investment period, provided that:

  1. the funds remain in New Zealand at all times during the two-year investment period; and
  2. the amount of invested funds is the same as, or greater than, the amount of funds nominated at the time of approval; and
  3. the investment of the funds continues, during the two-year investment period, to meet all other requirements applied at the relevant time (see BB5.10).

BB6.10.1 Reminder from the NZIS to provide evidence of investment requirements being met

Three months before the expiry of the 2-year investment period, the NZIS will write to the principal applicant requesting that evidence of investment requirements being met be provided to the NZIS within 3 months after the expiry of the 2-year investment period.
