BI11.35 Process for accepting or refusing a change to a business proposal (04/07/2005)
  1. If consent is given to change the business proposal then the business immigration specialist must inform the principal applicant in writing of the approval.
  2. If the requirements have not been met, the business immigration specialist must decline the request to change a business proposal.
  3. If the request to change a business proposal is refused then the principal applicant must be offered the option of:
    1. continuing with their original business proposal; or
    2. reinvesting the required funds for the Government to hold.
  4. If the principal applicant does not continue with the original business proposal, and does not wish to reinvest the funds with the Government, then they may withdraw their funds, and the Department of Labour may revoke their residence visa/permit.
