E2.26 Sports people representing Fiji (13/06/2000)

1. Visa or immigration officers must not issue or grant temporary E2,26visas or permits to sports people (and associated personnel) representing Fiji or Fijian national and/or Fijian club teams at all levels who are applying to enter New Zealand temporarily for the purpose of such representation.
2. Sports people who are coming to play as individuals and do not represent Fiji or a Fijian national or club team are not subject to (a) and may be considered for temporary entry to New Zealand under appropriate temporary entry policy (see V3.85 and W3.55).
