W3.140 Special work permits for Fijian citizens who arrived in New Zealand on or before 6 July 2000
- Citizens of Fiji who:
- arrived in New Zealand on or before 6 July 2000, and
- have been granted a temporary permit (being a further temporary permit to that granted upon arrival in New Zealand), as a result of the New Zealand Government's response to the political situation in Fiji in May 2000,
may apply for a work permit under this policy.
- Applications for work permits under this policy must be made in the (see E4.55) and must include an offer of employment.
- Work permits granted under this policy will be made current for a period of three months only from the date of grant of the permit.
